Travancore Clays and Minerals is a Thiruvananthapuram-based manufacturer of Sundried Air Floated Kaolin — also known as china clay — operating from two factories: Azhoor (Chirayinkeezhu) and Kochuveli Industrial Development Area, both in Kerala. Our customers span ceramics, rubber, paint, fiberglass, pesticides, electrodes and abrasives manufacturing across Kerala, Tamil Nadu and the rest of India.

Our facilities produce Sundried Air Floated Kaolin using precision air-flotation processes, delivering the consistent whiteness, particle size, and chemical purity that industrial buyers demand — batch after batch. The flagship grade, TRACOFIL, achieves ISO brightness 78 and 98% kaolin content.

By virtue of low impurities, low iron content, high aluminium content, high kaolin content, low bulk density, good particle size distribution, low calcium content, and excellent absorption, binding and dispersion properties — TRACOFIL is suited as a high-performance filler across ceramics, paint, rubber, electrodes, detergents, pesticides and insecticide manufacturing.
